Based on 10+ years of field reports for the D 360, here is the unofficial supplement to the manual.

Issue 1: "Unit heats but never stops."

Issue 2: "Pump runs but mold stays cold."

Issue 3: "E 004 after mold change."

Standard manual units just show a red light. The Exclusive version offers a 3-digit alphanumeric display with specific meanings.

| Code | Meaning | Immediate Action | | :--- | :--- | :--- | | E 001 | Temp sensor (PT100) short circuit | Check wiring in the terminal box. | | E 004 | Pressure shock (return blocked) | Immediately stop. Clean mold water lines. | | E 007 | Overheating (>365°C on heater) | Thermal relay tripped. Wait 30 min, reset. | | H 111 | Manual fill timeout | You forgot to close the fill valve. Close it immediately to avoid flooding the return line. | | FL 02 | Low flow (Exclusive warning) | Pump is running, but no flow. Check for a closed manual ball valve or collapsed hose. |

Unique to Manual Exclusive: Because there is no automatic PLC reset, you must physically walk to the unit to clear E-codes using the red "Acknowledge" button.

If you own or work with a Wittmann TemPro Plus D 360 temperature controller, this post collects a concise, practical manual-style guide: key features, setup, common settings, troubleshooting, and maintenance tips to keep your unit running reliably. This is an operational reference—not a substitute for the official service manual—use factory documentation for safety-critical actions.

Because this is a Manual unit, the startup sequence is an active process. Do not simply turn it on and walk away.
