For advanced users, zEdit (specifically the UPF patchers) can auto-generate a patch BSA. When you run a zEdit patch (like zMerge or zPatch), you have an option to "Pack assets into BSA." This automates the entire Archive.exe process.
Wrye Bash also includes a "BSA Repacker" feature under the Mods tab. Right-click a mod, select "Extract BSA," edit the files, then "Repack" from the same context menu. This is the safest method for beginners.
Launch the game. In the console, type help "assetname" to ensure the BSA is loaded. Check for missing meshes (red diamonds with exclamation marks) or purple textures. skyrim se patchbsa repack

Sometimes, you don’t want to repack your own patch. You need to repack two conflicting BSAs from major mods. For advanced users, zEdit (specifically the UPF patchers)
Example: Mod A (Weapons.bsa) has a broken iron sword mesh. Mod B (WeaponsRetexture.bsa) has a fixed mesh. Mod B is loaded first (wrong order).
