Wip - Gwen Summer Heat - All

The Bad: The Humidity of Unfinished Work

Let’s be honest. Summer destroys discipline. The heat makes your tablet pen slippery in your hand. Your laptop overheats on your lap. The glare on your monitor makes it impossible to see your shadow values. For creators, July and August are often the months where art projects go to die.

The Good: The Raw Material

However, summer heat is also the ultimate source of conflict. And conflict is the engine of all good art. A Gwen suffering through a summer heatwave is a Gwen stripped of pretension. The "Gwen Summer Heat - All WIP" collection is a testament to the labor of love behind fan projects. It represents the bridge between a concept and a playable experience. The Progress: I’ve got three main pieces in the "ugly sketch" phase and one almost ready for final rendering.

Behind the Scenes:I'm experimenting with a "remastered" look for some of these. I really want to capture that specific feeling where the heat is so thick you can practically see it—less "beach day," more "melting on the sidewalk but making it fashion."
