Ironically, FLOW-3D Hydro also includes a legitimate Fluid Fracture Model for simulating braking waves or jet breakup. Some users mistakenly enable this physics model thinking it’s needed for high-speed flows. If you see a crack, ensure that Physics > Fluid Fracture is disabled unless you intentionally modeling droplet splashing.

Adjusting the numerics can stabilize the pressure-velocity coupling.
